FIGHTING FLARES UP IN CHINA
Rec. 9 p.m. NANKING. Apl. 16. Fighting has flared up in the perimeters of Taiyuan, the last Nationalist island resistance of importance in North China. The Communists .fired 1500 shells into positions around ,beseiged Shansi, the provincial capital, and two Communist regiments followed up with an attack'.
