The intensive rucking that was so evident in the work of the Otago representative pack last year was glimpsed again when Pirates scored an easy victory 34—3, over Wellington. The vigour with which they packed and heeled must have been nothing short of demoralising for the local men. Two fine five-eighths in S. Sutherland and W.
