AMBULANCE BRIGADE
District Officer P. T. Mulligan was In the chair at the annual meeting of the Ambulance and Nursing Divisions of the St. John Ambulance Brigade on Thursday night. The annual report of the Ambulance Division, which was adopted, stated that during the year the ambulance made 228 tries, covering a distance of 3740 miles. Mr W. J. Davies reported that a photograph, together with medals of the late Rev. W. G. Hannah (district superintendent) had been presented to the brigade.
Messrs R Chase and W. J. Davies were appointed auditors for the coming term. District Surgeon R. S. J. Fitzgerald presented Mrs Mcßride with her service medal and District Officer Mulligan with his second bar to the Service Medal. On behalf of the brigade a presentation was made to Mr J. P. McLeod on the eve of his wedding. At the close of the meeting District Officer Mulligan read a report on the dominion officers' conference held at Wellington.
