RUGBY FOOTBALL
Mr R. Gibb was in the chair at the annual meeting of the Otekaike Football Club. The balance sheet showed that the club was in a sound financial position. The opening practice was fixed for April 2. Officers elected for the coming season were: Patron. Mr J. S. Adams; president, Mr R. Gibb; 21 vice-presidents were elected; secretary, Mr J. P. Frew; treasurer, Mr J. M. Wilson: club captain, Mr B. Gardener; delegates to the Waitaki Rugby Sub-union, Messrs J. Wilson and A. Grant; coach, Mr A. Grant; committee— Messrs B. Gardener, K. Parker, L. Wright, D. Russell, A. Nye.
