COMPANY DIVIDENDS
Brents, Ltd., Rotorua, is paying an unchanged interim dividend of Is Id a share on April 1 (ex div. on March 30). The directors of New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., have advised shareholders that, should the company continue on its present satisfactory basis, the advisability of a moderate increase in the dividend will receive the consideration of the board.
The directors of the Wilson Malt Extract Company recommended that a final dividend of 31 per cent, be paid for the half-year ended February 28 free of all taxes, making a total of 7 per cent, for the year. The dividend will be payable on April 14.
