The card for the Geraldine Racing Club’s meeting to-day is a good one and the fact that a number of horses from Wingatui are engaged will add to the interest of local enthusiasts in the meeting. Of the team from Wingatui nothing appeals more than Jan. who should be a better hprse than she was at the Dunedin Jockey Club’s spring meeting, at which she ran third to Ned Kelly and Night Owl in the Kaikorai Handicap, of sev|a furlongs. To-day she will meet Night Owl on 51b better terms.
