MANIOTOTO HOSPITAL BOARD The medical superintendent reported to the monthly meeting of the Maniototo Hospital Board that 5 male and 27 female patients were admitted to the hospital during the month of September. Five male and 24 female patients were discharged, and nine patients remained under treatment. Nine babies were born in the hospital during the month. Subject to approval by the Transport Licensing Authority, it was decided to make the following charges for transport of patients in the ambulance:—One shilling a mile for the first 40 miles; 6d a milo thereafter; minimum charge 7s 6d.
