CANTERBURY'S CHALLENGE
VISITING TEAM SELECTED P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 11. The Canterbury team to play Otago in the Ranfurly Shield challenge match at Carisbrook next Wednesday will be: Backs—D. Doake, W. Argus, T. Richards, J. Kelly, I. McNally, J. Roach, L. Savage; forwards—A. D. McKenzie, D. Herman, N. Dalzell, B. Chandler, R. Stuart, A. Couling, I. Mitchell, G. Bond; emergencies—M. Dickson, A. Harding (backs), L. Blanchard, C. Hardie (forwards). The team will leave Christchurch on Monday for its game against Otago, and on Thursday it .will leave for Invercargill to play Southland on Saturday. August 21. Savage will not be available for the second game.
