Miss Bertha Rawlinson has left for Auckland, where she is to act as an adjudicator of the vocal sections at the Auckland Competitions. Members of the Arbitration Court—Mr Justice Tyndall, Mr W. Cecil Prime, Mr F. C Allerby, and Mr R. D. Lumsden, registrar—will leave for the north this m Sir Alexander Mackenzie Livingstone, a former member of the British Parliament, accompanied by Lady Livingstone, will arrive in Dunedin to-morrow from the north. He wtll be accompanied by officers of the Department of Internal Affairs. Sir Alexander was formerly member for Inverness, and is a director of steel and building companies. Wing Commander A. B. Greenaway, who has been commanding the R.N.Z.A.F. station at Hobsonville since May, 1947, will succeed Wing Commander F. R. Dix. commanding officer at Wigram, when the latter departs for England on a special course. This was announced by the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, in Wellington yesterday.
