NEW REFRIGERATED SHIP
PA AUCKLAND, Aug. 11. A sister ship of the Huntingdon, which was in Auckland recently, the twin-screw motor ship Cumberland, will be launched in Britain to-day. She is the tenth refrigerated ship built by Alexander Stephen and Sons, Ltd., for the New Zealand Shipping Company and associated companies in the past 10 years. Her gross tonnage is 11,300. Powered by twin Diesel engines, she has a speed of 17 knots. She is expected to enter the New Zealand trade next year.
