Another successful basketball tournament was held in the Drill Hall on Monday night. Sectional winners were: Section 1, Excelsior No, I; section 2, Old Boys No. 3; section 3, Excelsior No. 2; section 4, Excelsior No. 3: section 5, Oamaru No. 2; section 6. Star; section 7. C.Y.M. • ' , In the semi-finals Old Boys No. 3 beat Excelsior No. 2, Star beat Oamaru No. 2, Excelsior No. 1 beat C.Y.M., Excelsior No. 1 beat Star. Excelsior No. 1 beat Excelsior No. 2 in the final.
