RESIDENT HONOURED
A pleasant evening was spent at the home of Mr H. Burgess, Totara, recently when representatives of the Totara Hall Committee presented him with a fireside chair as a mark of the local residents’ appreciation of his services over a long period of years. Mr Burgess, , who recently retired from the Hall Committee, served for 22 years, being chairman for the last five years.
