Last week two teams from the Waitaki Boys’ Junior High School visited Waimate to play annual matches. The Bst Grade, played against a team representing primary schools from Wimate and country districts, was won by Waitaki by 3 points to nil, Perriam scoring for Waitaki. The junior 6st 71b team played a combined Waimate primary and Convent team, Waitaki winning by 6 points to 3. The scorers for Waitaki were Mason and Alexander. On Saturday, Waitaki’s Sixth Grade team played against a Waimate District High School team as a curtain-raiser to the Eastern Districts v. Waimate Subunion game. Waitaki won by 17 points to 6, the scorers for Waitaki being Ferguson (three tries). Lawrence (one try), and Maude (one’try and a conversion). Possibles v. Probables On Saturday a Nortli Otago country primary schools’ Possibles v.
