Taken to Riccarton at Easter, she ran third to Skyzami and Beaugency in the Russley Handicap. The Salmagundi filly has been nominated for the Dunedin meeting. Great Northern Re-liandicaps The following rehandicaps for the Great Northern Hurdles and the Cornwall Handicap at Ellerslie on June 5 have been declared by Mr A. The Grate Injured The Grate had a fortunate escape from serious injury while she was turned out in a paddock at Washdyke last week. One of her rugs came adrift and she took fright and dashed through two fences. She suffered slight injuries to her chest and lost some skin off her front legs. Her owner-trainer, D. P. Wilson, said at Washdyke on Saturday that she did not appear to have suffered any serious injury, but she would be off the scene for some time.
