Appeal in America for Boycott of British Goods

Rec. 11 p.m. NEW YORK, May 24. A mounting wave of criticism of Britain’s Palestine policy was capped to-day by a full-page advertisement in the pro-Zionist New York Post appealing for the nation-wide boycott of British goods. The advertisement, inserted by the “ Sons of Liberty Boycott Committee,” declares: “Do not be a party to murder. Do not buy British goods. Do not see British films. Do not do business with British firms. Do not buy socks or clothes made of British goods. Do not send goods in British ships. The British are a nation of merchants and bookkeepers. They will not tolerate a balance sheet in which red ink predominates. If the British Government finds that its losses in the United States more than outweigh its gains in Palestine, it will call off the invasion of Israel in 24 hours. Every dollar we contribute to Britain helps spill Jewish blood. The committee, beginning on Wednesday, will picket all stores selling British goods.”
