ENDING IN HARMONY
FIRST WORLD TRADES UNION , CONGRESS Rec. 9 p.m. ROME, May 11. The Executive Committee of the World Federation of Trades Unions ended with a unanimous decision to convene a second world trades union congress in Brussels not later than the first fortnight of December. The Executive Committee will meet again in Paris during the third week of August and thenceforth the executive will meet quarterly. The president, Mr Arthur Deakin (Britain), said that differences had been thoroughly thrashed out and that the meeting ended without any major differences.
