CUP TO MAGNIFICENT P.A. PALMERSTON N., Apl. 18. The Manawtu Trotting Club’s annual meeting was opened at Awapunl yesterday under favourable conditions, and the track was fast. There was a large attendance, and the totalisator handled £40,308 10s, compared with £25,884 10s last year—an increase of £14,424.
