ASSOCIATION MEETING At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association it was reported that the opening night for the carnival would be April 22. The convener oi’ the Games Committee, Mr Campbell, reported that the response ’from clubs to the request for the numbers of players who would be available each night was very disappointing. A letter of explanation was received from the St. Patrick’s Club explaining its failure to field teams for certain recent matches. Reports were received on the Falconer Cup tournament, the South Island championship, and the Otago junior championship. Entries for the South Island championships were received from 160 players and from 80 players for the Otago junior championships. St. Clair No. 2 team was declared the winner of the Men’s A Grade interclub competition and University the Winner of the Women’s A Grade.
