SINCLAIR LOWERS LOVELOCK’S TIME
Going out from the rest of the field in the mile championship at the Otago University sports yesterday, the national champion, J.
D. Sinclair, registered a sterling performance to win the event and
lower J. E. Lovelock’s University record from 4min 28sec to 4min 23 3-ssec. Sinclair ran an effortless race and was never challenged.
The annual meeting was commenced at the University Oval last night, when several events were held in ideal conditions on an excellent track. Results: —
