SCHOOL COMMITTEES
QUARTERLY MEETING
Mr C. Koller was in the chair at the quarterly meeting of the North Otago School Committees' Association. The Otago Education Board advised that it wished to co-operate with the association, and that members would pay a visit to the district in the near future. The board was asked to advise the various committees of its itinerary.
Lengthy discussion took place on the supply of milk to the schools, it being considered that improvements were necessary. Mr A. F. Stock was appointed the delegate to attend the conference at Christchurch in March. The secretary, Mr A. F. Stock, reported that 22 school committees had joined the association, but a few committee were not supporting the association financially, although they were interested in the association’s work.
