BOXING ASSOCIATION

HIGH STANDARD .MAINTAINED

A high standard of boxing, which compared favourably with past perfoi manccs, was maintained during the past year, states the annual report of the Oamaru Amateur Boxing Association. Three tournaments—two amateur and one professional—were held during the year, and the club was indebted to trainers and hoys from other centres who assisted during the season. Two local contestants.
