Scratchings posted to-day for Avondale are as follows:—Cornwallis Handicap— Bridge Watcher (9.55 a.m.), Payout (1.45 p.m.), Manakea (4.30 p.m.), Henderson Handicap—Bridge Watcher (9.55 a.m.) September Hurdles—Town Echo (10.10 a.m.) Swanson Handicap—Corineus (10.10 a.m.) Kindergarten Stakes—General Supreme (10.45 a.m.), Tide Lad (2.30 p.m.), Gay Cherie (3.30 p.m.). Distinction was withdrawn from the Avondale Guineas at 3.10 p.m.
