CADET COMPETITIONS AREA XI EXAMINATIONS Nominees from the cadet units at the Otago Boys’ High School, the Christian Brothers’ Boys High School, John McGlashan College and the Waitaki Boys’ High School were examined at the Kensington Drill Hall on Saturday in the annual competition for the Wililam Robert Friar Memorial Prize. This prize is presented annually to the secondary school cadet n.c.o. who is judged to be the most efficient in each military district in New Zealand, The examining board —Lieutenantcolonel S. M.
