WELLINGTON'S TRIBUTE P.A. WELLINGTON, Aug. 19. Two representatives of the Wellington R.S.A. will attend a meeting being convened by the Mayor to discuss tentative plans for a citizens’ war memorial. Announcing this, the president of the Wellington R.S.A., Mr T. A. Turner, said that suitable war memorials suggested by the association included the building of war veterans homes, the extension of the aims of heritage to embrace all dependants of ex-servicemen, and the extension of education facilities for children of war VC A shrine of the Edinburgh Memorial type would, it was considered, be a suitable national war memorial.
