VIOLENCE CONTINUES IN PALESTINE
JERUSALEM, Aug. 17. A gang of Jewish youths murdered an Arab between Jaffa and Tel-Aviv to-day, The youths dragged the Arab from a Jewish cafe in Tel-Aviv and stabbed him fatally in a side street on the Jaffa-Tel-Aviv border. Three shots fired at a Jewish bush between Jerusalem and Jaffa slightly injured a Jewish girl passenger. Arabs ambushed several Jewish buses in the Arab quarter of Jaffa, shot a Jewish woman in the face, and stoned other passengers, superficially wounding at least a dozen. Jews last night burned an Arab house in'an orange grove near Jaffa, and Arabs fired a Jewish petroleum products factory. ..
