KNOCK-OUT * COMPETITION UNIVERSITY A BEATEN As a result of further matches played in the senior men’s hockey knockout competition on Saturday three teams are left in the running—High School Old Boys, Albany B and Technical College Old Boys. Two of the teams will play next week and the competition will be decided after the winning eleven has played the third team. University B had defeated Albany A in the first stages of the competition, but on Saturday the students’ second string went down to Albany B, which was conceding two goals. University A lost a hard game against Old Boys, while Technical beat Wesley easily. Results of the games were as follows: H. 5.0.8. 4, Varsity A 1. Albany A 6, Training College 5. Albany B 7, University B 5. Technical 0.8. 8, Wesley 6.
