TURNING PROFESSIONAL
WOMAN GOLF CHAMPION Rec. 9.30 p.m NEW YORK. Aug 14. Mrs Mildred Didrickson Zaharias the women’s, golf champion of the United States and Britain, notified the United States Golf Association to-day that she would turn professional and accept a 300,000-dollar motion picture offer. She said she felt that by doing a series of motion picture shorts on golf she would “ further the advancement of women’s golf and golf in general.”
