INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY
VISIT OF AUSTRALIAN WOMEN The postponement of the tour of New Zealand by the Australian women's hockey team until 1948 has added the possibility of a further sporting attraction in Dunedin in centennial year. The Otago Women’s Hockey Association has applied for the K Cup tournament to be held here, and although this application cannoc be considered by the New Zealand Association until the beginning of next season, it is unlikely to be refused. This means that the Australian team will probably participate in the tournament with the likelihood of a match against a New Zealand team at the end of the tournament.
