RENEWAL OF DISCUSSIONS AMERICAN DELEGATES READY Rec. 8 p.m. TOKIO. Apl. 14. General MacArthur. in his latest report on Korea, said that the American delegates* to the United StatesSoviet Joint Commission on Korea were ready at any time to participate in renewed discussions with the Russians. He stressed that consideration of “ pertinent matters" must be conducted on the basis already set forth by the American commanding general in Korea. General MacArthur’s report was released following the publication of Mr Marshall's statement blaming Russia for economic distress in Korea.
