SUCCESSFUL TESTS
ELECTRIC POWER FROM SEA Rec 8 p.m. LONDON. Mar. 17. Moscow radio reported that tests in using the force of the sea to produce electric power were successfully made at Leningrad. The apparatus consists of a generator in a drum anchored m the sea. The drum, when the tide reaches a certain level, begins to rotate, setting the generator in motion. The radio claimed that the invention could produce up to 1100 kilowatts.
