COOKING BY RADIO
WASHINGTON, Dec, 30. The Federal Communications Commission has granted the Raytheon Manufacturing Company a special 2450-megacycle frequency for “radar range,” a device for cooking by radio. The company claimed that the radar range cooks gingerbread and scones in 29sec and hamburgers in 35sec. It is not stated when radar range operations will begin.
