TEN-YEAR PLAN
ANNOUNCEMENT ON MONDAY MINISTER ARRIVES ON SUNDAY The ten-year plan of works projects for Otago will be announced by the Minister of Works, Mr R. Semple, on Monday morning. The announcement will be made in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall at 11 o’clock. At 10 o'clock there will be a small preliminary meeting in the Mayor's office, at which the formal comprehensive notice dealing with the lands likely to be affected will be signed by the Mayor. Mr D. C. Cameron, and one of his councillors, and by the chairman of the Waitaki County Council, Ci J. Rodman, and one of his councillors. The Minister, who is expected to arrive in Dunedin on Sunday, will probably be accompanied by Mr T. G. Beck, engineer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department and deputy commissioner of works, Mr F. T. M. Kissell. general manager of the State hydroelectric department, Mr J. Sawers. general manager of New Zealand Railways, Mr G. W. Albertson, Government Housing Controller, and Mr R. A Paterson, Government architect.
