PARACHUTIST IN ENGLAND JET-PROPELLED METEOR (Rec. 11.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 25. In the presence of Air Ministry chiefs and United States Army and Navy observers, an Irishman. Bernard Lynch, was successfully ejected from a jet-propelled Meteor while it was travelling at more than 300 miles an hour 8000 feet over Chalgrove, Oxfordshire (R.A.F- station), last night. He Landed unharmed. Captain scott, of Power Jets experimental unit, piloted the plane.
