DANGEROUS WOMEN
FIANCEES OF SOLDIERS ENTRY TO BRITAIN BANNED LONDON, July 8. The Home Office is taking special precautions to prevent ‘‘dangerous women" from coming to Britain as fiancees of demobilised British soldiers, says the Ilerford correspondent of the Daily Mail Before visas are granted the girls are vetted by investigators trained in exposing Nazi suspects The passport officials stated that the girls must be of good character, and give documentary proof that they are free to marry. Their fiances must have homes in Britain.
