KID-GLOVE TREATMENT
GERMANS IN BRITISH ZONE MOSCOW RADIO OUTBURST LONDON, July 8. Moscow radio declared that the recent disturbances in Hamburg were started by Fascists who had been emboldened to go from passive resistance to active opposition. The most serious aspect was the kid-glove treatment of Fascist elements by the British occupation authorities. Many administrative posts in the British zone were still filled by rank reactionaries. The radio quoted the magazine New Times, alleging that the British. American, and French occupation zones provided a "refuge for Fascist scum from practically every country in Europe."
