JULY MEETING
Mrs Winn (president), occupied the cbair at the monthly meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union on Monday afternoon. Mrs Winn led in prayer, and a memorial minute to the memory of Mrs Bridgman was read. Miss R. Day, a friend of the late Miss Mulligan, gave a brief resume of her work for temperance. Miss Day conducted the devotions. Delegates were appointed to attend the Home League birthday party. The Rev. R. W. Mayson gave an informative talk on prison reform, based on the book lately issued by the Rev. G. E. Morton, A vote of thanks was passed to the speaker.
