MEETING QF ASSOCIATION At a meeting of the North Otago Automobile Association on Monday night Mr J. Gerrie reported that, as reflectors for pedestrian crossings were now available, the association should appro'ach the Borough Council with a view to having these substituted for the painting of crossings which was an unsatisfactory procedure.—The secretary was instructed to write to the South Island Association requesting particulars of the effectiveness of the indicators. Mr R. J. Taylor pre.sided. A letter was received from the Borough Council indicating that the water rates would be the same as before the war for the motor camp in future. It was decided to erect signposts on the main Duntroon road indicating the site of the North Otago Progress League irrigation farm, and to write to the Borough Council pointing out that a number of street name plates were obliterated.
