LIVERPOOL MINE
MORNING’S WORK LOST (P.A.) GREYMOUTH, July 8. The Liverpool State coal mine at Rewanui was idle to-day because of a break in the centre railway line on the hill between Dunollie and Rewanui. which prevented the train conveying the miners to work at Rewanui from negotiating the hill. The line was repaired this morning, and the afternoon shift worked as usual..
The line was broken by a large stone which fell from the hillside during the night.
