Majestic Theatre.—Recognised as one of the best melodramas of the year, " Double Indemnity ” will commence its season tonight. This fine Paramount film features Barbara Stanwyck. Fred Mac Murray, and Edward G. Robinson. Plans are at the Bristola.
Opera House.—Gary Cooper has always given a polished perfromance, but no doubt it was “ Mr Deeds Comes to Town ” that provided him with his finest role. With Jean Arthur he will commence a return season of this film to-night at the Opera House. '
