SEARCH FOR TALENT
Owing to the fact that there will be no competitions held In Oamaru this year, the Eveline Centennial Hall Committee has decided to organise another search for talent contest. This is to be held on August 6, and if necessary on August 7 also. It will be remembered that the committee arranged a similar contest towards the end of last year, when the ability of the younger members of the community was demonstrated. The support of the business organisations in Oamaru has been assured, and it is hoped that this contest will be even more popular and successful than the last.
