OAMARU DRAMA CLUB
There was a large attendance of members and friends at the Oamaru Drama Club’s monthly play social recently. A programme of two one-act plays and a duologue was presented by the following: "Half-term.’’ Mr W.' Mitchell, Mrs H. Kent, and Misses Mina Topp, Josephine Simmons, Margaret Dobson, Nancy Curwood. and Sonia Woodward: “ Shame the Devil,” Mr G. Drummond and Mrs W Kennedy; "Villa for Sale,” Mr M. Ward, Misses M. McDonald, B. Kirkness, S. Woodr ward, and I. Brown. A feature of the " Half-term ” play was the inclusion of three junior members of the club. These three young players showed considerable promise.
