Sold to Auckland Owner The two-year-old filly Milford Girl has been bought by an Auckland owner. She was got by Dillon HallSister Polly, by Wrack—Our Nurse, the dam of Probationer (3mm 16 4-ssec), Sure (2min 9 l-ssec), Salalon (2min lOsec), and Sister Polly (3mm 17 l-ssec). A New Trainer It is reported that a new trotting trainer is setting up in South Canterbury. Noel Berkett (son of the wellknown Nelson mentor) has purchased a property near Temuka, and has taken with him Nelson McElwyn. Lucky Scott, and a sister to Bulldozer. N. Berkett already has driven several winners, and he should be a „ welcome aclditiop to the sport in the district.
