JEWISH TERRORISTS
ENGINES BLOWN UP THE LYDDA DISTRICT (Rec. 1 a.m.) JERUSALEM, June 11. Hundreds of members of the Sixth Airborne Division, with the aid of armoured cars and carrying searchlights, combed the Lydda district throughout the night in a search for the Jewish terrorists who blew up three railway engines and burned 10 coaches. The Haifa-Cairo main line is still blocked by the wreckage, and breakdown trains are working to clear the line.
