FORTNIGHTLY MEETING Mr E. Coker presided, and there were also present Messrs P. Connors, H. Dowdle. R Brown, I. Sherwin, C. Rawstorn, K. Thomson, L. Hedges, M. Tonkin G Thorpe, and the secretary, Mr L. Blair, at the fortnightly meeting of the North Otago Hockey Sub-association on Monday ni ft ht was decided that two rounds be played for the Markham Cup, and that the second round be divided into two divisions. Oamaru Black, Oamaru White. Tainui Black and Tainul White were placed in the first division, and Rover=. Kakanui I, Kakanul 11. and Oamaru in the second division. It was also decided that ui the event of the leading team in the second division coming within striking distance of the leading team in the first division, all games unplayed in the first round should be played. Mr L. Blair reported on his recent visit to Dunedin, and stated that Otago was anxious to play a game against North Otago before June 29. It was arranged to play this game on June 22, subject to the approval of the Otago Association. It was decided to play a Possibles v. Probables match after the competition games on Saturday. The following is the draw for Saturday: First division: Oamaru White v. Oamaru Black, No. 1 ground, 3 p.m.; Tainui Black v Tainui White. No. 2 ground. 3 p.m. Second division: Oamaru v. Rovers, Kakanui I v. Kakanui 11.
