RADIO HOBBIES CLUB

The president, Mr E. Lye, occupied the chair at the second monthly committee meeting for the year of the Dunedin Y.M.C.A. Radio Hobbies Club, which was held in the Y.M.C.A. buildings last night. The following report for May was adopted:—Club members approved of the renovations which were carried out in the club room, and a vote of thanks was extended to those who had assisted with the work. To date members have received lectures on radio tubes, the resistance and cathode ray tube, and a talk on a two-tube receiver. which was displayed in the club. it was stated that, the club was endeavouring to obtain consent to change its name to the Otago Radio Hobbies Club, with a Dominion-wide membership and also to print p monthly magazine.
