FOOD FOR BRITAIN PAST WEEK’S FIGURES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 11. The following are the results of coupon saving for the past week in the 20 main postal districts. These are given in order of merit according to the basis of population:—
Butter showed a remarkable increase, but the meat figures were very much lower. Another interesting point is that 10 districts showed an increase this week. Wellington made a solid increase, but Auckland, on the other hand, slumped.
