She also broke badly in the Champion Handicap. Double Deck, who started at Waikouaiti, is a threee-year-old gelding by Jack Potts—Rose de Org, by Rey da Oro— Dandy Rose, by Wildwood Junior—Rose D, by Rothschild. By Gold Bar Daisy Gold is a three-year-old filly by Gold Bar—Daisy Scott, by U. Scott—Daisy Pointer, by Logan 'Pointer—Daysprmg, by California— Daybreak, by Vancleve. In Winning Form Bulldozer, who lias been in great winning form, was got by Grattan Loyal Alpine Melody, by Rey de Oro—Harold Wilkes mare, the next dam Daphne, by Prince Imperial, third dam Peri, by Imperious. The fourth dam was got by r. thoroughbred. At Waikou aiti Good fieds went out for both the lightharness events on the Waikouaiti card. Pointsman, the winner of the Domain Trot is a brown geiding by Jack Potts, and Great Show, the winner of the New Year Handicap, a gelding by Sandydale. The outside of the course was firmer than near the rails-, and some of the leaders were lost to view after entering the straight.
