After referring to the early return of his department to its former strength, Mr Roberts said he hoped' that before long community centres and rural cooperative activities would be a major part of their work in rural districts. He commended the encouragement of Young Farmers’ Club activities to all the members of the council. He added tha! during his term of office he had looked on the members of the Primary Prod’ ction Councils as generally being the cream of the farm leaders in the cc mu. unity.
