ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FALL FROM TREE
lan McKenzie, aged 13 years, residing at 23 Glenross street, was admitted to Hospital at 6 p.m. yesterday suffering from a fractured left arm. The injury was received when he fell from a tree near his home.
SHOULDER DISLOCATED
Elizabeth Little, an elderly woman, residing at 24 Bradshaw street, was admitted to Hospital at 8.15 p.m. yesterday with a dislocated shoulder, the result of falling at her home.
BURNS FROM GAS OVEN
Charles Greig, aged 13 years, residing at the Child Welfare Home, was admitted to Hospital at 8.13 a.m. yesterday suffering from facial burns received when a gas oven “ blew back.
LAWRENCE SHOOTING ACCIDENT
Desmond John McTavish, the young man who was injured at Lawrence on Sunday, received his injury through the accidental discharge of a rifle, which one of the other members of the party was in the act of loading.
