It is probable that most of these will be missing after the acceptances are declared. The most interesting of them are Miss Medley and Chung Chong, whose second in the New Zealand Cup showed that he was a solid stayer. New Zealand Cuo form is very often an excellent guide to ihe Auckland Cup. Chung Chong finished with a spectacular burst in the Cup at Riccarton and should run prominently at Auckland, where he has done most of his racing. L. J. Ellis, who will ride Golden Souvenir at Ellerslte, has won the Auckland Cup on two previous occasions, being the pilot of Cuddle when she won in 1935 and 1936.
